20 NATIONAL PARKS OF ZAMBIA

 There are are 20 National Parks in Zambia. Some of these these Parks are not properly maintained and have a few animals and facilities. The others are well maintained and have a high concentration of animals and two of them are World famous. Here is a list of all the National Parks in Zambia.

1. Isangano National Park. Located east    of the Bangweulu Swamps. It has no facilities and has very little wildlife.

2. Blue Lagoon National Park. A small park in the north of the Kafue Flats west of Lusaka, known chiefly for bird life.

3. Kafue National Park. A well known National park and world-famous for its animals. It is one of the world's largest national parks.

4. Kasanka National Park. A private operated park located south of the Bangweulu Swamps.

5. Lavushi Manda National Park. Located south-east of the Bangweulu Swamps. It has no facilities and has little wildlife.

6. Liuwa Plain National Park. It is in the remote far west with no facilities but has some large herds of animals.

7. Lochinvar National Park. A small park south of the Kafue Flats. World famous for bird life and herds of lechwe.

8. Lower Zambezi National Park. It offers good wildlife viewing on the Zambezi River and has numerous lodges.

9. Luambe National Park. A small park, close to South Luangwa National Park.

10. Lukusuzi National Park. Located east of Luambe. 

11. Lusaka National Park. Opened in 2015, a small park on the south-east side of the capital city Lusaka.

12. Lusenga Plain National Park. Located east of Lake Mweru. It has little wildlife.

13. Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park (Victoria Falls National Park). The small park for Victoria Falls on the edge of the city of Livingstone.

14. Mweru Wantipa National Park. The park has little wildlife.

15. North Luangwa National Park. It is closed except to specially-licensed tours.

16. Nsumbu National Park (also known as Sumbu). Once ranked with Kafue and Luangwa.

17. Nyika National Park. Famous for its highland scenery and vegetation rather than wildlife.

18. Sioma Ngwezi National Park. Located in the remote far south-west. It has some large herds of animals.

19. South Luangwa National Park. Another world famous National Park.

20. West Lunga National Park. The Park is neglected and has little wildlife.
